Job Duties: Work on application development, design, unit testing and implementation while utilizing Java/J2EE and Microservices. Implement Java microservices-based applications. Work on Spring Boot and Hibernate. Define and communicate technical and design requirements. Analyze and design databases within application area. Provide input to technical lead and architect on development solutions. Monitor and support high-volume batch files and web service integrations. Assist the project management and testers in the creation of test plans and test scenarios, which include new code or changes in the existing code. Create wireframes, graphical templates, and other graphical elements for various projects. Use project management tools such as Jira and Confluence to create and track project tasks and defects. Conduct unit tests, code reviews, assess and improve site/software performance, and maintain design and code documentation. Work on system integrations. Develop business logic using tools such as Spring Framework and Microservices. Will work in Sterling, VA and/or various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S. Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
